EVENT INFORMATION

FireFit Individual & Team Competition

All teams and individuals who have competed at a Regional Event held across Canada and have qualified within their category are welcome to attend the FireFit Championship Finals.

Competitors from other Countries are welcome to compete for an International Bye to the International FireFit Championship Finals at any Regional Event held earlier in the year.

The First Place Individual and Team from the Region in each Category receives a Bye to Final Day of the FireFit Finals. A  'Team Time' of 9 minutes or less for Men's Teams and 12 minutes or less for Women's Teams qualifies a Team to compete on one of the 'Wild Card Days' during The Finals. FireFit Relay

Men's Open Relay Teams with a time of 1:50 or faster run at a Regional Event earn a spot onto Final Relay Day (Sunday) at the FireFit Finals.  There are 64 Open Relay spots.

Other categories in the Relay Category and their National Qualifying Times are as follows: Industrial 2:00, Over 40 2:10, School 1:50, Women's 3:00 and Mixed Relay 2:20, Over 50 2:30. These Relays in most cases will be run seperately from the Open Relay.

FireFit X3 Relay

The Fastest X3 Relay Team from each Regional Event, qualifies for a X3 'Bye' on the Relay Finals Day (Sunday) at the FireFit Finals. X3 Relay Teams who meet the qualifying time can compete in the X3 'Wild Cards' held on Wild Card Relay Day (Friday). The top 5 (five) X3 Teams from the Wild Card Days within each category will move on to the X3 Finals (Sunday).

On Saturday & Sunday at DelPark Homes Community Centre the local Farmers Market runs all day with fresh food, home-made baked goodies, as well as a selection of local vendors.

DelPark Community Center offering many family filled activities just steps away from the FireFit course.  Play grounds, outdoor & indoor water parks, olympic swiming pool, lazy river, indoor workout facilities, leisure rooms, & public library.  The indoor rinks will be in full swing with Hockey and Lacross games going on.

CHECK IN DAY - Tuesday, September 10 - 12h00 - 17h00

Course OPEN for inspection & 'Air Walk Throughs'.  Waivers must be signed before accessing course.  Helmets, gloves and turnouts must be worn when on tower.  Last Minute registrations, space permitting!
